There are is an important DAO vote that requires your attention 🚨
First: we have a discovered a small but consequential bug in the recent contract upgrade related to rETH2, where the total supply of rewards can be less than the sum of individual user positions. No funds are at risk.
The fix for this issue is ready and we as a DAO have a choice:
1. Grant the StakeWise DAO multisig the power to approve the contract upgrade containing the fix immediately. The turnaround to fix the bug in this case is less than 24 hours.
2. Go through the formal DAO voting process with on-chain execution of the contract upgrade that contains the fix. The turnaround to fix the bug in this case is 144 hours.
To eliminate the issue asap, we would like to propose to the DAO that the multisig gets involved immediately. Please see the Snapshot Flash Vote (only 12 hour duration) on this issue below:
If this proposal gets approved, the DAO multisig will immediately act to approve the upgrade to fix the bug. If the proposal is rejected, we will proceed with the formal DAO voting process shortly after concluding this vote.
